Modular regenerated calcium sulphate panel 600x600 mm, single-layer high density, consisting of gypsum and cellulose fibres. The S30R panel was created thanks to an innovative selection and reconditioning process for the recovery of used panels. The manufacturing process involves the superficial removal of worn and no longer usable external elements and the recovery of the panel and parts that are still useful, to which it is possible to give new life and new functionality. The regenerated panels can be reused to fulfil their function as raised flooring, they can be used as a structural core for new types of finishes or for the application of superior finishes in glued or loose-lay porcelain stoneware. The resulting new panels are therefore made from 100% recycled material that can also contribute to obtaining the maximum score for the building's Leed certification.

THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN RAISED FLOORS

Raised floors, unlike other building components, are made up of removable elements that can be removed without the need for heavy demolition. This aspect makes it possible to recover a good part of the artifacts if they are still functionally intact. The concept of "circular economy" can therefore also be extended to the raised flooring sector by developing a planned process that allows the reuse of materials that are still intact and functional, reducing waste as much as possible. This virtuous principle applied to the life cycle of raised floors allows them to be recovered and reused with undeniable advantages from an environmental and economic point of view. 

THE 3 "R's"

The three fundamental concepts of the circular economy are represented by the 3Rs 

Reduce: reduce the consumption of raw materials and the amount of waste.

Reuse: reuse materials.

Recycling: recycling and giving new life to objects that are no longer used.

All materials subject to recovery are analyzed and validated through selective monitoring.  Following the verification process, the selected material is reclaimed and introduced into the new production process in order to create a technically flawless and high-quality product.
